An account is only for moving a paid licence between your devices and syncing projects if you want that. The editor itself never asks you to sign in.
Keys are sent by hand, so there can be a wait. If it has been more than 24 hours, email us with the address you paid with and we will sort it out.
It isn't. Your password is stretched with PBKDF2-SHA-256 at 310,000 rounds against a random 32-byte salt, and only a verifier derived from the result is kept. The password itself is never written to disk and never sent anywhere.
Each device gets a random ID generated on the device. We record the browser and OS family so you can tell your laptop from your phone in the list — nothing that identifies you, and nothing shared with anyone.
Delete your account and everything goes with it, immediately. Your projects live on your device, so they stay exactly where they are — deleting the account never touches your work.
